It’s CONSUMER.’s turn for show and tell, and this time they’ve brought some rotting Americana, like rusty Bubble Yum and moldy Saved By the Bell.  Both a studio and video album, BODIES ARE TIME uses TV archetypes against themselves to weaponize pop against the newspeak of nostalgia. BODIES ARE TIME is more character driven than the usual energy focused outings from CONSUMER. that is ultimately a quiet love letter to 90’s soundtracks and a quirky death threat to genre.  Available digitally and on cassette October 7th at Reggie’s Music Joint.
